How to Safely Use the Electric Power Cutter

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Always wear:

• Safety goggles – Protects eyes from dust and debris.
• Hearing protection – Reduces noise exposure.
• Respirator or dust mask – Especially important for dry cutting.
• Cut-resistant gloves – Improves grip and protects hands.
• Steel-toe boots – Prevents foot injuries from falling debris.
• Protective clothing – Avoid loose garments that can get caught.

Operating Guidelines

• Secure the Workpiece: Ensure the material being cut is stable and will not move during cutting.
• Start Slowly: Begin cutting at a low speed to avoid kickback.
• Keep Both Hands on the Tool: Always maintain a firm grip.
• Maintain Proper Stance: Stand to the side of the blade, not directly behind it.
• Avoid Twisting the Blade: This can cause the blade to bind or break.
• Do Not Force the Cut: Let the blade do the work at its natural speed.
• Use Wet Cutting Whenever Possible: Reduces dust and cools the blade.

Dust and Water Management

• Connect the integrated water feed for wet cutting.
• For dry cutting, use a vacuum system or ensure adequate ventilation.

Important Warnings

• Allow the blade to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.
• Never remove the blade guard during operation.
